Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician

1. Performs cleaning and maintenance on the premises surrounding the wind turbines.
2. Monitors and operate the SCADA if necessary.
3. Test and troubleshoot, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic components and the wind turbine system.
4. Replace worn out or malfunctioning equipment.
5. Climb towers to inspect and repair wind turbine equipment.
6. Performs retrofitting activity base on client design.
7. Conduct 3MM, 6MM, and 12MM maintenance schedule.
8. Can handle precision equipment (e.g. caliper, manometer, torque wrench etc.) during maintenance activity.
9. Performs change oil of the gearbox and hydraulic tank.
10. Performs wind turbine component replacement.
11. Conduct routine inspection of wind turbines.
12. Enters the work order within 48 hours.
13. Handles electrical testing equipment (e.g. multi tester, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.) for handling electrical

1. Performs local reset.
2. Collect turbine data for testing, research and analysis.

Qualifications Summary:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any Electrical Vocational Course.
2. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
3. Ability to work flexible shifts and adopt to changing work schedules.
4. Good communications skills both oral and written.
5. Know how to drive and must have a valid Driver’s License.
6. Can do multi-task.
7. Willing to be assigned in Guimaras or any point in the Philippines.
