Job Description: Business Development Manager – MuleSoft

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager specializing in MuleSoft solutions to drive enterprise sales and expand market presence. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping integration strategies, and positioning MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to address complex enterprise integration needs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in selling integration solutions (API, ESB, connectivity) and can engage with senior stakeholders to deliver business value through digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles for MuleSoft integration solutions across enterprise accounts
  • Identify and engage potential clients, build pipelines, and close high-value deals
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and market expansion plans
  • Conduct client presentations, demos, and value-based selling engagements
Client Engagement & Solution Positioning
  • Understand customer integration and API strategies
  • Position MuleSoft’s API-led connectivity approach to solve business challenges
  • Align MuleSoft capabilities with initiatives such as:
  • Customer 360
  • Omnichannel experience
  • Open APIs and ecosystem integration
  • Legacy modernization
  • Operational efficiency and scalability
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and executives
Market & Opportunity Development
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
  • Conduct market analysis and client segmentation strategies
  • Organize and support business events, forums, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals
Collaboration & Delivery Alignment
  • Work closely with solution architects and delivery teams to align technical solutions with client needs
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation
  • Support proposal development, solution scoping, and pricing strategies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Proven experience selling integration platforms (MuleSoft preferred)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • API-led connectivity
  • Enterprise integration (ESB, systems connectivity)
  • Digital transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or similar iPaaS solutions
  • Background in consulting or technology services companies
  • Experience handling enterprise accounts and large deals
