Job Overview:

We’re looking for an Appointment Setter / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and engaging aged care providers approved under the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement (LA) to discuss their staffing needs and schedule introductory calls with our workforce solutions team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect Identification & Research:

  • Identify aged care facilities approved under the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement (LA).
  • Research using government databases (e.g., DHA Labour Agreement list, My Aged Care, ABN Lookup, RSBS).
  • Build a lead database/spreadsheet with key details (contact info, number of beds, location, LA approval status, etc.).

Lead Qualification:

  • Assess if provider has active LA approval.
  • Review provider size, location, and hiring activity via job ads or website presence.
  • Prioritize leads based on need, location (metro/regional/rural), and contactability.

Outreach & Appointment Setting:

  • Initiate professional and informative outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
  • Use provided messaging framework to book calls with HR managers, facility directors, or operations heads.
  • Customize communication for each provider based on their profile and pain points.

CRM & Outreach Tools Management:

  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter.io/Skrapp, Mailshake/Lemlist, and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pipedrive) for outreach and lead tracking.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of conversations, follow-ups, and next steps.

Follow-Up & Engagement:

  • Follow up with non-responsive leads after 3–5 days.
  • Share valuable content (e.g., summary of Labour Agreement benefits, guides on visa sponsorship).
  • Aim to convert interest into booked introductory calls or presentations.

Sales Support & Relationship Building:

  • Support Account Executives or Business Development Managers in workforce planning conversations.
  • Build rapport with prospects through helpful insights and consistent communication.
  • Highlight benefits of partnering with international workforce providers (lower turnover, FT carers, PR pathways).

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of Australia’s aged care sector and labour shortages
  • Familiarity with migration pathways: TSS (482) and ENS (186) visas
  • Comfort discussing ANZSCO occupation codes and visa eligibility criteria
  • Proficiency in lead generation, email outreach, and CRM platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented
