Outgoing Quality Control Inspector
Rowell Lithography and Metal Closure, Inc. Carmona Full-time
- Coordinates with the Metal Substrates Supervisor to identify and prioritize skids requiring immediate inspection.
- Conducts inspection of outgoing finished goods (coated/printed sheets) in accordance with established Quality and Food Safety standards.
- Verifies and quantifies finished products against the actual quantity turned over by Production.
- Ensures the correct orientation and arrangement of finished products prior to delivery, based on customer specifications and standards.
- Prepares and submits inspection reports to the Immediate Superior in a timely manner.
- Prepares the Certificate of Inspection for coated/printed sheets and coordinates with the Shipping Supervisor for proper documentation and release.
- Prepares color guides and submits them to customers for evaluation and approval.
- Conducts retort testing on sample cans or cut sheets coated/printed with sample lacquer and/or ink to validate product quality and performance.
- Complies with company policies, safety rules and regulations, Food Safety OPRPs, and Operational Control Procedures at all times.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.
