What You’ll Be Doing
As a Finance Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust accounting controls, and supporting end-to-end finance operations across multiple systems and stakeholders.Financial Performance & GrowthKey Activities
- Complete accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Prepare and support month-end financial reporting (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Prepare and post journals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis with full supporting documentation
- Act as a key point of contact for Campus Trading finance-related and operational queries
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding finance matters, including returns, refunds, and order-related issues
- Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
- Respond to queries via Halo in a timely and professional manner
- Provide weekly reporting and financial insights to stakeholders, including inventory reporting
- Manage daily finance operations including bank reconciliations (TD, FIB, PayPal, Stripe)
- Process and post journal entries in NetSuite for transactions processed through Xero
- Ensure accurate invoice flow between Shopify (CA), Veeqo (US), and financial systems
- Process inventory adjustments including returns, out-of-stock items, and customer refunds
- Monitor and record shipping and vendor bills in Xero
- Manage credit card transactions, ensuring timely import and reconciliation
- Reconcile Shopify gift card liabilities and tax reports to Xero
- Perform inter-system reconciliations between Xero and NetSuite
- Maintain accurate inventory records across systems
- Prepare and process bills for payment and reconcile once cleared in the bank
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation (FloQast or equivalent)
- Assist with tax filing support documentation and compliance requirements
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required
- Maintain accounting controls by developing and improving policies and procedures
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key finance processes
- Support continuous business and process improvements
- Comply with all EH&S policies and applicable regulatory and company requirements
- Perform risk assessments related to finance and operational activities where required
- Participate in training programs and uphold safe, compliant work practices
- Actively support organisational goals for compliance and continuous improvement
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a Finance Accountant or similar role
- Strong experience in reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end reporting
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and financial controls
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance preferred (CPA/CA not required)
- Willingness to work Australasian, North American, or UK shift hours
- Willingness to work in or relocate to Angeles City, Pampanga
