The CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) or Finance Director is responsible for the overall financial leadership of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The role ensures robust financial management aligned with both Philippine and Australian regulatory frameworks, while supporting business growth, investor relations, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Perform financial risk management by analyzing liabilities, investments, and market trends
  • Develop and implement investment strategies, considering cash flow and liquidity risks
  • Oversee and optimize capital structure, fundraising initiatives, and financing strategies
  • Ensure healthy cash flow to support daily operations and long-term growth
  • Supervise and mentor finance personnel, including controllers, treasurers, and analysts
  • Manage and strengthen vendor and stakeholder relationships
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and forecasts for management and stakeholders
  • Establish and oversee finance systems, including ERP and reporting tools
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine and Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of financial controllers and analysts
  • Support executive leadership in strategic decision-making and business expansion
  • Maintain strong investor relations and ensure partnership compliance
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or equivalent required
  • Strong expertise in Australian accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) and taxation
  • Proven experience in senior finance leadership/executive roles (CFO/Finance Director)
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership and partnership with executive stakeholders
  • Experience in multi-entity and cross-border financial operations
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, risk management, and capital strategy
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
  • High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial technologies
  • Advanced English communication skills, with experience engaging overseas clients, investors, and stockholders
