We are seeking highly experienced Senior Facade Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in aluminium systems, curtain wall packages, material take-offs, quantity surveying, and cost analysis for GCC facade projects.
The selected candidate will act as a core member of the commercial and engineering department, responsible for preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and technical cost studies for façade and aluminium works.
We are specifically looking for high-caliber professionals with strong technical and commercial understanding capable of supporting fast-paced, high-value projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Estimation & Costing- Prepare detailed cost estimates familiars with SCHUECO, TECHNAL, RAYNAERS,GUTTMANN AND ETC. :
- Curtain walls Unitized and Stick System.
- Aluminium windows & doors
- Cladding systems
- Screens & architectural metal works
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare pricing breakdowns and commercial comparisons
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and technical compliance
- Prepare accurate material take-offs for:
- Aluminium profiles
- Glass quantities
- Steel supports
- Hardware & accessories
- Sealants & consumables
- Generate cutting optimization and quantity analysis
- Coordinate take-off quantities with drafting and BIM teams
- BOQ preparation and validation
- Variation order analysis
- Quantity verification
- Cost control support
- Budget analysis
- Coordinate with:
- Drafting department
- BIM modelers
- Procurement
- Factory production team
- Review technical drawings for estimation accuracy
- Support engineering team in system optimization and value engineering
- Analyze project profitability
- Support tender submissions
- Compare supplier quotations
- Prepare commercial reports and summaries
- Experienced in GCC Suppliers.
Qualifications and requirements:
Required Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years experience
- Strong background in:
- Aluminium systems
- Curtain wall estimation
- Façade quantity surveying
- GCC project experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- Shop drawing
- Fabrication processes
- Material optimization
Preferred Experience:
- Schüco systems
- Technal systems
- Reynaers systems
- Gutmann
- Custom façade systems
Experience in:
- High-rise towers
- Hospitality projects
- Large-scale architectural projects
- Complex metal works
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- AutoCAD
- LogiKal (Orga-data)
- Autodesk Revit (basic-to-intermediate understanding)
Preferred:
- Orgadata LogiKal
