JOB SUMMARY

The Process Excellence Black Belt is responsible for leading end-to-end, cross-functional transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact. Operating within a defined Process Excellence framework, this role ensures consistent, high-quality execution from problem identification through implementation and sustainment.

The role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership and disciplined execution, with rigorous adherence to structured methodologies, governance standards, and global delivery expectations. It extends beyond analysis and is accountable for driving solution implementation, ensuring adoption, and sustaining measurable outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBIULITIES
  1. Enterprise Process Transformation & Ownership
  • Lead multiple high-impact initiatives from Define through Sustain phases
  • Identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities aligned with business strategy
  • Deliver measurable outcomes such as cost savings, efficiency gains, and performance
improvements
  • Ensure full ownership across the project lifecycle, from problem definition to sustainment
  1. Structured Problem Solving
  • Develop clear, data-driven problem statements linked to business outcomes
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies including DMAIC, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis
  • Validate root causes before progressing to solution design
  • Maintain discipline in structured thinking and avoid premature solutioning
  1. Data Analysis & Performance Management
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data across multiple systems and sources
  • Establish performance baselines and quantify improvement opportunities
  • Define and track key performance metrics such as cycle time, quality, rework, and
efficiency
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor progress and outcomes
  1. End-to-End Solution Design

Design comprehensive and scalable solutions covering:

  • Process workflows
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Systems and tools
  • Data and reporting structures
  • Governance and ownership models and ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs
  1. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies to drive alignment and
execution
  • Maintain a consistent communication cadence for project updates, risks, and key
decisions
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues or blockers to ensure timely resolution
  1. Implementation & Adoption
  • Own end-to-end implementation of solutions, not just recommendations
  • Ensure readiness across impacted teams including SOP updates, training, and
communication
  • Monitor early-stage performance and drive issue resolution
  • Ensure benefits realization and long-term sustainability of improvements
  1. Governance, Documentation & Standardization
  • Execute projects using standardized templates, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable documentation
  • Ensure all deliverables are repeatable, consistent, and aligned to defined standards
