About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the finance team at Avalon Chemical Solutions, Inc. in our Pasig City office. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining accurate customer account records and ensuring timely collection of payments.

You will be a key member of the finance team, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

What you'll be doing
  1. Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoice creation, customer follow-ups, and payment reconciliation
  2. Maintain detailed and accurate customer account records in the accounting system
  3. Prepare and send customer statements and follow up on outstanding payments
  4. Resolve billing inquiries and work with customers to address any discrepancies
  5. Assist with month-end close and provide reporting on accounts receivable metrics
  6. Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed
What we're looking for
  1. 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance/accounting role
  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  4. Good communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and credit control procedures
