Accounts Receivable Specialist - Quezon City

Job Summary: You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely payment of invoices.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices.
- Apply customer payments accurately to open invoices (cash application).
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate collection efforts.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to resolve payment discrepancies and collect outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate and resolve billing issues, and process adjustments as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounts receivable records, reports, and aging schedules.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Support audit requests by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices within the AR function.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or collections role.
- Experience with accounting software, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel , VLOOKUPs, pivot tables.

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
