The Finance Director leads the Accounting, Finance, and Treasury functions, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance across all business units. The role ensures financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to accounting and regulatory standards while enabling strategic decision-making and long-term business growth.
Job Description- Oversee Accounting, Finance, and Treasury operations, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with business objectives and corporate strategy.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with local and international accounting standards.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, consolidations, and analysis.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow planning, liquidity management, and optimization of banking relationships.
- Monitor working capital performance and implement strategies to improve cash efficiency and financial stability.
- Collaborate with the Cluster Finance team to ensure consistent financial governance and reporting alignment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance, accounting, and treasury team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support system automation, process enhancements, and business expansion initiatives to improve financial and operational efficiency.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, and treasury, including leadership roles from a logistics, transport, shipping industry.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, planning, reporting, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
