Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations across Luzon. This role is responsible for managing regional sales teams, driving business growth across General Trade (GT) and Local Key Accounts (LKA), building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the effective execution of sales programs and strategies.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in FMCG sales, excellent leadership and people management skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in dynamic, multi-channel environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Management & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, business plans, and regional initiatives aligned with national targets.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from planning and forecasting to execution and evaluation across General Trade and LKA channels in Luzon.
  • Ensure achievement of sales volume, revenue, and growth objectives (e.g., 100% vs. Plan, Year-on-Year growth).
  • Manage trading term agreements, including negotiations, implementation, and compliance with trade partners.
  • Lead the Joint Business Planning (JBP) and regular business reviews with key customers and trade stakeholders.
  • Oversee trade marketing programs and ensure correct and timely execution of merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
Leadership & People Development
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Area Sales Supervisors, Key Account Specialists, RSAs, and field teams.
  • Drive performance management, capability development, and career progression of direct reports.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, field coaching, and training to improve team capability and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture with strong teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Channel & Customer Management
  • Manage a network of local distributors, key accounts, and regional trade partners within Luzon.
  • Monitor and grow strategic accounts, ensuring account-specific plans are in place and executed.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with both principals and customers, ensuring alignment on goals and collaboration on execution.
  • Oversee inventory and supply planning coordination, ensuring proper stock levels and minimal bad orders (BO cap management).
Operations, Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure proper implementation of trade policies, pricing structures, and operational standards.
  • Oversee timely PO processing, order fulfillment, and collection.
  • Ensure complete and on-time trade spend liquidation, including PCSA and CRR compliance (e.g., CRR aging < 2.0% over 90 days).
  • Conduct market visits to monitor field execution, merchandising, and competitive activity.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, program execution, customer insights, and regional opportunities or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a proven track record in FMCG, particularly in managing Luzon territories.
  • Strong background in managing General Trade and Local Key Accounts.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results through others.
  • Excellent in people management, strategic thinking, and analytical decision-making.
  • Skilled in negotiation, business reviews, and trade strategy execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – advanced, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Must know how to drive and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to travel frequently across the Luzon region.
