IT Asset Associate Manager

Job Description:

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software
• Oversee the full lifecycle of assets from procurement, deployment, maintenance, to retirement
• Handle asset allocation during employee onboarding and retrieval during offboarding
• Ensure all asset records, including licenses, warranties, and service agreements, are accurate and up to date
• Monitor and track movement, utilization, and status of assets across the organization
• Conduct regular audits of hardware and software assets and ensure compliance with licensing agreements
• Support and manage activities related to software license compliance and vendor audits
• Generate reports on asset inventory, utilization, compliance, and trends
• Maintain and improve asset management systems, tools, and databases
• Establish and document processes and procedures related to asset and configuration management
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and operations teams to support business requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reduce risks, and optimize costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management or asset analysis
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and asset lifecycle management
• Experience working with asset management tools or ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Solid understanding of software licensing, compliance, and audit processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience in a BPO or shared services environment is an advantage
