Job Description
The HR Trainee provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team across key functions, including employee engagement, recruitment, payroll, records management, and office administration. This role offers hands-on exposure to HR processes and supports efficient and organized operations.
Main Tasks
Employee Engagement & Internal Communication- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities
- Provide logistical support for visiting executives, clients, and partners
- Support internal communications (coordination, documentation, distribution)
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interviewers
- Monitor pre-employment requirements and follow up as needed
- Prepare and maintain onboarding documents
- Maintain employee records (201 files) with accuracy and confidentiality
- Update HRIS and perform data validation/clean-up
- Assist in preparing HR documents and basic reports
- Assist with employee records for statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Support preparation and submission of required reports
- Provide administrative support for payroll documentation and data validation
- Assist in employee clearance and offboarding processes
- Track exit requirements and maintain proper documentation
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and facility concerns
- Liaise with vendors and building administration
- Support inventory and procurement of office supplies
- Assist in monitoring HR funds and tracking office expenses
- Process and route billings for payment
- Coordinate with housekeeping and monitor services
- Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- Open to fresh graduates; prior work experience is not required.
- Demonstrates the ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and works effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Exhibits solid organizational, time management, and administrative skills
- Shows strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
