Job description:

Job Function – Accounting Assistant (Construction Site)

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing financial and clerical support to ensure accurate recording of construction-related expenses, proper monitoring of project costs, and compliance with accounting procedures and company policies.

They assist in maintaining site financial records and coordinating with the head office for reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions, including site expenses, purchases, and petty cash.
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable related to suppliers, subcontractors, and site operations.
Maintain organized filing of invoices, receipts, and financial records.
Coordinate with suppliers and site personnel regarding billings, payments, and financial concerns.
Support preparation of financial reports and statements required by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Previous experience in accounting is a plus

Proficient ins Microsoft Excel or familiar with Quickbooks

Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
