Industrial engineer

Job Description

1. Study any specified item (product or service) that needs method and time study.
2. Prepare the Operation breakdown of the product or services to be studied. Provide labor cost estimates to new designs based on initial or original samples.
3. Prepare Routing sheet or required form of operation on work flow chart.
4. Prepare the Contractor's guidelines, if applicable, for any outsourced production.
5. Initiate the Pre-Process with Product Development and Production staff to ensure all new items specification are evaluated and agreed upon by all prior to marker preparation.
6. Prepare lay-out of stencil on all new design in preparation for operator's Pay Ticket on every new stock number as basis to compute their efficiency.
7. Initiate Process Engineering with Production staff to evaluate Cutting Department's performance on all new design for possible cutting defects or failure to follow pattern specifications and so necessary action can be taken prior to sewing. Process engineering is also conducted on every new of special (RO) design to check accessories quality against cut parts so action can be taken in case of non-conformance.
8. Conduct the methods and time study (MTS) by selecting the right peson to be studied. Confer with the Supervisor on the actual date of study to ensure person is ready for the MTS. MTS includes Cutting Department's Lay, Cut, Sort, Fusing, EQC, and bundling operations.
9. Update the Master List of Standards on every adjusted standard on the computer, on Pay ticket system and on file.
10. Monitor the feasibility and effectiveness of all set standards thru monitoring operator's efficiency and perform the necessary re-study as necessary.
11. Perform MAN-Machine Allocation based on set standards in case of production increase or reduction of capacity as delegated by IE Section Head.
12. Conduct special studies on productivity measurement and/or any other areas that require technical know-how as delegated by IE Section Head.
13. Perform work meeting customer's and applicable regulatory requirements supporting achievement of quality objectives of the unit and consistent with the quality policy.

• Bachelor’s Degree of BS Industrial Engineer
• At least 1 year (s) working experience in similar capacity
• With solid background in inventory management, production process, scheduling and balancing.
• Analytical and can interpret figures.
• Must be proficient in excel program particularly PIVOT TABLE
• Full-Time positions available
• Willing to work in Rodriguez Rizal Area
