Is currently looking for:

INVENTORY ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will lead the cycle counts in a program to identify and eliminate any problems found in daily cycle counts.

1. Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
2. Coordinate a cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
3. Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on the results.
4. Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
5. Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
6. Coordinate the efforts of the cycle counts to identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level as needed.
7. Monitors warehouse and store transfers for accuracy and cost effectiveness.
8. Troubleshoots all special-order problems from time of receipt.
9. Ensure that the unit of measure “in” receiving and of actual usage is the same with the unit of measure in the system to prevent conversion and inventory discrepancies.
10. Will be an active resource in the implementation of the WMS computer system.
11. Identify and promote methods for improving inventory accuracy and ensure a high level of accuracy for KPI.
12. Audit transaction and forms to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriate transactions.
13. Ensure a safe work environment.
14. Participate in writing and revising work instructions in collaboration with warehouse leadership.
15. Support organizations goals and objectives.
16. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Educational Background: Graduate of any Engineering degree, preferably Industrial Engineering graduate; A Diploma and/or master’s degree in supply chain management is an advantage

II. Experience:

• Three (3) years’ work experience in the manufacturing industry as a minimum experience requirement, preferably exposed in materials management and control including cycle counting, etc.

III. Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:

• With working knowledge and understanding of WMS concepts
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Good interpersonal skills, able to interact well with direct and cross functional team members
• Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills with knowledge in using any analytical tools and applications
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Must have the ability to work independently and willing to work on flexible schedules
• Must have excellent mathematical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities
