High School Social Studies Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies subjects for Junior High School students
• Implement lessons aligned with Montessori principles that encourage inquiry, collaboration, and independent learning.
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and active participation.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the school curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to support holistic student development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies, Social Science, Education, or a related field.
• Professional License is a plus
• Master's degree holders are an advantage but not required
• Experience teaching Junior High School students is an advantage.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn the Montessori approach to education.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and ability to build parent-partnerships.
• Passionate about student-centered learning and character development.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
