About the role
We are recruiting for the role of an experienced Credit Analyst.
The objective is to own the credit assessment process and to provide outcomes in a prompt and efficient manner.
Maintenance of the credit function, ensuring accuracy and responsibility of allocated deals.
About you
We are seeking someone highly motivated and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must work well in a team environment. Must be able to take ownership.
Key duties- Reviewing new inquiries for loan proposals and assessing lending eligibility
- Manage in creating scenarios by using Quickli and Lending Calculators
- Ordering valuations and pricings required for the loan strategies
- Workshop the loan scenarios, including product research, serviceability, and document verification
- Checking bank policy and carrying out servicing calculations
- Reviewing and clarifying client living expenses
- Knowledge of structuring or packaging of loans
- Creating the funding position
- Ability to understand and analyse PAYG, Self-employed income documents (e.g. payslips, tax returns, and profit & loss statements)
- Doing the product comparison to enable to determine the best lender would fit to the clients desired loan and its capacity
- Creating “mud maps” for brokers for client review
- Prepare application and compliance notes for the loan processing team
- Resolve lender exceptions raised during the application process and work with loan processors to resolve these information requests
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Australian HOME LOAN processing, and credit analysis from an Australian mortgage broker or bank
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of common banking and computer software
- Knowledge about different bank policies
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- With technical know-how on documentation requirements in housing loans
- Accurate and efficient in data entries
- Coordination skills in dealing with Bank lenders on housing loan processing.
