Procurement Specialist

1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting vendor assessments and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
2. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast procurement requirements and maintain optimal stock levels
4. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, aiming to achieve cost savings whilst maintaining quality and delivery standards
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for supply-related matters
6. Track and reconcile invoices, managing discrepancies and resolving payment issues with suppliers
7. Analyse procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
8. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
9. Collaborate with departments including operations, finance, and logistics to align procurement activities with organisational needs
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement activities and supplier communications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
2. 2-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
3. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships and secure competitive pricing
4. Proficiency in procurement software systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
5. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Filipino language proficiency is advantageous
8. Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics processes
9. Familiarity with quality management systems and compliance requirements
10. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving procurement practices and technologies
