Senior Treasury Officer
Our sister company, OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. is seeking a highly competent and strategic Senior Treasury Officer to lead treasury operations and support the financial stability and growth of the organization. This role is responsible for managing liquidity, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, financial risk mitigation, and treasury compliance across multiple business entities.
The ideal candidate is a finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and extensive experience in treasury management. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the organization's financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury and Liquidity Management- Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity requirements across all operating entities.
- Prepare short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor and optimize banking structures, account arrangements, and working capital management.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient cash utilization.
- Serve as the primary liaison with banking partners for treasury operations, facilities, and financial services.
- Support the negotiation, administration, and monitoring of credit lines, financing arrangements, and banking facilities.
- Manage bank mandates, authorized signatories, and online banking access controls.
- Identify and mitigate treasury-related risks, including liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, and counterparty risks.
- Implement and monitor foreign exchange hedging strategies in accordance with treasury policies.
- Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, internal controls, and corporate treasury policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions on treasury-related matters.
- Prepare timely treasury reports, cash flow analyses, and risk exposure summaries for management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including treasury reconciliations and journal entries.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and treasury system enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Participate in strategic finance projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial management.
- Demonstrated expertise in cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
- Strong understanding of BSP regulations, treasury controls, and Philippine financial market practices.
- Proficient in treasury management systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
