Tax Compliance Supervisor

The Tax Compliance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's tax compliance activities, ensuring that all tax filings, payments, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time. This role supervises tax staff, monitors compliance with local and national tax regulations, and works closely with internal departments and external auditors.

• Supervise and review the preparation and filing of tax returns and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines.
• Monitor tax payments and coordinate with relevant government agencies.
• Review tax calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Manage tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Research and interpret tax laws and advise management on compliance matters.
• Develop and implement tax compliance policies and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate tax compliance staff.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, and external consultants regarding tax-related matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or required, depending on company requirements.
• Several years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or finance.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
