COMPLIANCE MANAGER (URGENT)

The COMPLIANCE MANAGER is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and internal policies related to property development, construction, sales, environmental standards, and corporate governance.

The role oversees regulatory compliance across project planning, land acquisition, construction, turnover, and property management operations while minimizing legal and operational risks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with national and local government regulations related to real estate development, construction, zoning, environmental laws, and property sales.
  • Monitor updates in laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the company’s projects and operations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies for permits, licenses, accreditations, and regulatory requirements.
Permits and Documentation
  • Oversee the processing and renewal of permits, clearances, and licenses for development projects.
  • Maintain organized and updated compliance monitoring and records.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and regulatory filings.
Risk Management
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and internal audits across departments and project sites.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Project and Operational Support
  • Work closely with Legal, Project Development, Sales, and Property Management teams to ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist management in handling inspections, notices, and compliance-related investigations.
  • Handle other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
Training and Awareness
  • Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees and project teams.
  • Promote a culture of ethical business practices and regulatory accountability.
Reporting
  • Prepare compliance reports and updates for senior management.
  • Track compliance performance metrics and unresolved issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree and Law Degree
  • Candidate must have at least five years of experience in legal compliance.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Must have advanced working knowledge on MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Has the ability to create and present comprehensive reports to management
  • Is able to work independently and well in a fast-paced environment
