Structural engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team for a residential project. You’ll be responsible for structural design and analysis using Tekla Tedds and working with steel, timber, and masonry structures. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of UK experience, a degree in engineering, and knowledge of UK standards and Eurocodes.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in engineering (civil or structural).
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience in residential projects in the UK.
• Proficiency with Tekla Tedds for structural calculations.
• Proven experience in the design and detailing of steel, timber, and masonry structures.
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
• Ability to produce clear calculation packages and coordinate with architectural and MEP teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural calculations for steel frames, timber roofs, and masonry walls.
• Provide clear calculation packages that comply with UK Building Regulations.
• Collaborate with the architectural team to ensure seamless integration.
• Address design queries and refine solutions as required.
