Marketing Development Officer

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Development Officer is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales growth. The role focuses on market expansion, promotions, partnerships, and customer engagement for furnishing and finishing materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
• Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities
• Provide insights to support marketing and sales strategies

• Develop and implement marketing programs and promotional activities
• Support product launches, events, and marketing campaigns
• Ensure marketing activities align with brand standards

• Generate leads and support the sales team in achieving targets
• Coordinate marketing efforts with sales promotions and initiatives
• Assist in preparing marketing materials and presentations

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, designers, and partners
• Identify opportunities for collaborations and strategic partnerships
• Support trade shows, exhibits, and industry events

• Monitor marketing performance and campaign effectiveness
• Prepare marketing reports and recommendations for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field

• At least 1–2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales support
• Experience in retail, construction, or finishing materials is an advantage

• Knowledge of marketing strategies, promotions, and market analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to prepare marketing plans and reports

• Willing to travel for market visits and events
