Procurement Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, or related field)
- Being a licensed engineer is a plus
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain of Purchasing
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, team player, good time management skills
- Strong understanding of civil works and/or electrical materials, equipment, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Willing to relocate in Quezon City
- The procurement engineer oversees the purchase of technical equipment/supplies base on the given specifications’ details.
- Collaborate with vendors to determine the equipment/parts/supplies needed to complete projects according to specifications, research vendors for ordering.
- Prepare comparison data analysis base on specifications and prices.
- Negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers and award contracts if required.
- Monitor any adjustments needed to maintain an optimum supply to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Oversees receiving of all incoming materials.
- Manages the warehouse and shipping & receiving functions.
- Coordinate with Shipper, Brokers in fulfilling inbound shipments.
- Plans, organized, directs, and reports on all supplier related activities to ensure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements.
- Prepares reports for senior management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data on material usage.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate procurement of materials.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) to support project planning and procurement activities.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to verify technical requirements and material compatibility.
- Evaluate technical submissions from suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
