A Marketing Manager gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers demand for products and services. They conduct market research, sales forecasting and strategic planning to assess and ensure the scale and profitability of products.They must be informed of marketing strategies and trends.
Some tasks Marketing Managers do:
- Increasing product awareness and market share.
- Generating new business leads.
- Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
- Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
- Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
- Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
- Managing the marketing department’s staff.
A Marketing Manager is also expected to coordinate with the sales, financial, public relations and production departments.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Read, translate, and communicate Chinese version with individuals by phone and email to solve marketing problems
- Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Must have an innovative mindset
