QA/QC Engineer

Is looking for:
QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control for industrial projects including fume scrubber systems, polyurea coating applications, and process installations ensuring that all site works are properly inspected and aligned with approved standards and executed correctly from the start while maintaining a strong on-site presence, promoting structured execution, and taking ownership in delivering consistent quality across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and QA/QC checklists
- Set up inspection hold points and ensure proper quality checks at each stage of work
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor ongoing activities
- Assist in identifying root causes of defects and support corrective actions
- Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper closure
- Check compliance with coating requirements, including surface preparation and application standards (DFT, environmental conditions, etc.)
- Inspect mechanical works such as equipment alignment, piping installation, and leak testing
- Verify proper installation of scrubber system components (pumps, blowers, dosing systems, etc.)
- Maintain complete and organized QA/QC documentation, reports, and inspection records
- Guide site teams on proper installation practices and quality standards
- Help ensure consistent implementation of QA/QC processes across all projects
- Contribute to improvements in site execution and quality systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial, or related field)
- At least 3 years of experience in QA/QC for industrial or construction projects, with hands-on experience in site inspections and quality control
- Experience in coating works (polyurea, epoxy, protective coatings) and process systems (scrubbers, STP, piping systems) is an advantage
- Knowledge of QA/QC systems such as ITPs, Method Statements, and basic documentation
- Familiar with coating standards (SSPC/NACE) and mechanical installation QA such as equipment installation, piping, and leak testing
- Able to use Excel or basic digital QA/QC reporting tools
- NACE/SSPC certification is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a site-based environment
- With good leadership skills, strong work discipline, and a responsible, hands-on approach to quality work
