Enterprise & Retail Portfolio Manager
At Globe, our goal is to create a wonderful world for our people, business, and nation. By uniting people of passion who believe they can make a difference, we are confident that we can achieve this goal. Job Description
The strategic product leader responsible for defending and evolving the massive Enterprise/Retail revenue base. This PM acts as the "Transition Architect." While managing the highly profitable, legacy MPLS portfolio, their primary mandate is to aggressively orchestrate the cross-product migration of enterprise clients to modern, future-proof architectures—specifically SD-WAN, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).
By automating retail pricing, owning the enterprise P&L, and designing proactive churn-mitigation strategies, this role ensures we protect our wallet share, manage the decline of legacy technology gracefully, and seamlessly upgrade our enterprise clients without exposing them to agile competitors.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: End-to-End Product & P&L Ownership: Holds full P&L accountability for the Core Data enterprise suite. Manages the lifecycle of premium connectivity (MPLS/L3 VPN), retail branch solutions (VPLS/ELAN), rapid-deployment/backup connectivity (VPN Express Wireless), and Managed Network Services (MNS).
Strategic Base Defense & Managed Migration: Proactively identifies customers at risk of churn. Instead of fighting the market shift, executes a "Managed Migration" strategy—proposing Hybrid WAN designs where MPLS remains the critical HQ link while branching out to Broadband/SD-WAN for remote sites.Evaluated on Total Account Revenue Retention, ensuring any revenue lost from legacy MPLS is captured in our adjacent Broadband/SD-WAN portfolios.
Productization & Innovation: Leads the development of "MPLS Lite" (via OLT/GPON) to offer a middle-ground product targeting cost-sensitive retail chains. Promotes Wireless Offloading as a primary connectivity solution for pop-up stores and hard-to-reach locations.Margin & Yield Management: Moves away from "one price fits all" by implementing vertical-specific pricing (e.g., tailored rate cards for Banking vs. Retail) to maximize willingness-to-pay.
Acts aggressively to review and renegotiate "last mile" access costs with local loop providers to improve Gross Margins. Ecosystem Stickiness & Contract Engineering: Leverages Managed Network Services (owning the customer's routers/switches) to increase technical stickiness, making it harder for clients to switch providers.Revamps contract terms to include proactive "Technology Refresh" clauses to lock in renewals before contract expiration.
REQUIREMENTS: 3 to 4+ years of progressive experience in Telecommunications, B2B Tech, or Managed IT Services. 2+ years specifically in Enterprise Product Management, Managed Services (SD-WAN/Security/Cloud), or Enterprise Solutions Architecture.Proven Track Record: Experience managing a high-revenue product lifecycle, specifically executing technology migrations and managing B2B customer churn.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance OR B.S. in Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE), Telecommunications, or IT. Certifications (Highly Advantageous, but NOT mandatory): ITIL v4 or Project Management Professional (PMP) Vendor-Specific SD-WAN/SASE Certifications (Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, etc.) Financial Modeling / Pricing Strategy Certifications MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) Certifications Soft Skills: Change management and consultative insighting (convincing risk-averse CIOs to modernize); cross-functional defense tactics (aligning Customer Success, Support, and Sales); defensive agility (quick competitive reflexes against tech upstarts).Hard Skills: Enterprise network architectures (legacy MPLS/IP-VPN and modern SD-WAN/Zero Trust); transition economics (modeling the financial impact of migrating high-margin legacy to modern products while increasing Customer Lifetime Value); B2B P&L ownership (tracking ARPU, churn velocity, and cost-to-serve).
