Research Analyst

The Research and Valuation Analyst supports a high-performing commercial real estate brokerage team by delivering key insights through market research, financial analysis, CRM management, and proposal development. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient operations, informed decision-making, and successful transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive analysis on commercial real estate assets (primarily multifamily)
• Track and input market comps, cap rates, trends, and active listings
• Ensure CRM data (e.g., Salesforce, RealNex) is accurate and up to date

• Assist in preparing Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs)
• Compile financial data and rent rolls for underwriting purposes
• Support the creation of financial models (Excel, Argus, or equivalent)

• Coordinate and organize content for listing proposals and presentations
• Format and proofread documents to ensure quality and brand consistency
• Partner with marketing team to develop visual and presentation assets

• Track listing progress and support due diligence coordination
• Assist in the design and editing of marketing materials as needed
• Prepare internal reports and deal pipeline summaries

• Provide ad hoc research and support to team members
• Maintain organization of shared drives and folder structures
• Draft meeting notes and client briefing summaries
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (e.g., Real Estate, Business, Finance)
• Experience:
• 1–2 years in commercial real estate or a related analytical role
• CRM Skills:
• Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, RealNex, or similar CRM systems
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Preferred Tools & Knowledge:
• Exposure to Argus, Adobe InDesign, and commercial listing platforms (LoopNet, CoStar, MLS)
• Soft Skills:
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
