Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management- Oversee warehouse staff in receiving, storing, and issuing telecom equipment (e.g., routers, antennas, fiber cables).
- Ensure proper inventory management and system updates in ERP/WMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Conduct periodic audits and stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Enforce proper handling and storage of sensitive and high-value materials.
- Supervise inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries to project sites and internal teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, and field operations) to understand delivery priorities.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers and monitor transportation performance.
- Schedule vehicle routes and oversee driver assignments for efficient distribution.
- Ensure warehouse and logistics operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and telecom industry regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory, deliveries, and operational KPIs.
- Assist in drafting and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics activities.
- Support the Logistics & Warehouse Manager in leading and mentoring warehouse and logistics staff.
- Conduct training on safety protocols, inventory handling, and operational best practices.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Assist in identifying bottlenecks in logistics and warehouse workflows.
- Recommend and help implement efficiency-enhancing tools and practices, including digitalization efforts.
Job Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the telecommunications, IT, or electronics sectors.
- Basic knowledge of telecom equipment and components is an advantage.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
- Valid driver’s license (if transport coordination is required).
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge and experience in import and export operations; preferably a licensed Customs Broker.
