About the role
Co-op is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver Recruitment Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic remote team. As a contract role, this position will be responsible for supporting our recruitment efforts for our client, focusing on sourcing and engaging with potential driver candidates.You will play a crucial part in expanding our network of skilled drivers to meet the growing demands of our clients.
What you'll be doing- Actively search for and identify qualified driver candidates through various online channels and job boards
- Conduct initial screening and pre-qualification calls with candidates to assess their skills and experience
- Maintain a database of vetted driver candidates, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of interviews and assessments
- Provide excellent customer service to both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process
- Support the onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruitment processes and strategies
- Work United States Hours, specifically Pacific Standard Time Zone 9am-5pm.
- Proven experience in recruitment, staffing or customer service, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry in the United States
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in the use of recruitment-related software and databases
