Project Cashier - Cebu

The Project Cashier acts as cash custodian at the project. He/she disburses petty cash expenses such as travel expenses of employees on official business and emergency purchase, issues receipts for cash and deposits it to the bank, prepares petty cash replenishment when cash run low, and withdraws cash from the bank.

Job Description:

• Acts as cash custodian at the project.
• Pays approved travel expenses of employees.
• Issues receipt for cash collected and credit the same to the company’s bank account.
• Prepares petty cash fund replenishment when cash run low.
• Withdraws cash from bank for petty cash fund, payroll, check accommodation and other related bank transactions.
• Give accountable cash advances to authorized employee.
• Pays reimbursement for liquidated accounts/ transactions.
• Records all CA and reminds employees unliquidated overdue accounts.
• Files the duplicate of the transaction slips from the banks and voucher checks.
• Controls the number of petty cash voucher.
• Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standards/ regulations

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of any Bachelor's/College Degree
• At least one (1) year of work experience in the same field. Experience in handling petty cash is a plus
• Has strong analytical skill
• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable
