Customer Service

Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter or approach the counter.
Take food and drink orders accurately (in fast-casual or counter-service restaurants).
Answer questions about the menu and assist customers with their selections.
Handling Payments
Process payments by cash, credit/debit card, or other methods.
Issue receipts and correct change to customers.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
Handle refunds or exchanges as per restaurant policy.
Order Coordination
Communicate customer orders to the kitchen or bar when necessary.
Ensure take-out or pickup orders are packaged correctly and handed to the right customer.
Monitor order statuses and inform customers of any delays.
Cleanliness & Organization
Keep the cashier station, front counter, and dining area clean and organized.
Restock items such as napkins, condiments, and to-go containers.
Sanitize the POS system, counters, and other high-touch areas regularly.
Team Support
Assist other staff members during busy periods (e.g., bussing tables, helping with food prep).
Report any customer complaints or issues to a manager or supervisor.
