About the role
ABest Express Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier/Motorized Rider to join our dynamic team in San Fernando, Pampanga. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring that parcels and documents are delivered safely and promptly to our customers.As a Courier/Motorized Rider, you will be the face of ABest Express Inc., representing our commitment to excellence in delivery services and customer satisfaction. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and efficiency in the couriers, drivers and postal services industry.
What you'll be doing- Operate a motorised vehicle to collect and deliver parcels, documents and packages to designated locations within assigned routes
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery confirmations and any issues encountered
- Perform pre-delivery vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly
- Communicate professionally with customers, providing updates on delivery status and handling inquiries with courtesy and efficiency
- Comply with all traffic regulations, safety protocols and company policies whilst operating vehicles
- Sort and organise parcels and packages in a systematic manner to optimise delivery efficiency
- Handle customer feedback and resolve delivery-related issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned vehicle
- Valid motorcycle or appropriate motor vehicle licence, relevant to the type of vehicle you will be operating
- Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver or in a similar transport and logistics role
- Sound knowledge of local routes and navigation, or ability to quickly learn assigned delivery areas
- Excellent driving record with a clean traffic and safety history
- Strong time management and organisational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Physical fitness and ability to handle parcels of varying weights and sizes
- Outstanding customer service skills and professional communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Basic mechanical knowledge and responsibility for vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
- Preferably, experience with delivery management systems or logistics software
