Business Process Audit Specialist

The position is responsible for independently planning and executing audits of assigned business processes or units to assess compliance, control effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Acts as engagement lead for defined audit scopes, develops audit programs, reviews the work of Audit Specialists, and consolidates audit results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the annual audit plan and prepares detailed audit work programs, including objectives, scope, and timelines
• Conducts process understanding, walkthroughs, interviews, and risk assessments to identify key controls and risks
• Executes audits in accordance with approved audit work programs and internal audit standards
• Performs control testing, evaluates compliance, and analyzes data to identify trends, control gaps, and root causes
• Reviews and organizes working papers in line with audit documentation standards
• Identifies audit issues and recommends corrective actions
• Prepares audit findings, reports, and presentation materials for communication to management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy; preferably a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least four (4) years of experience in auditing, accounting, or business process review/improvement
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including identifying control gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
• Willing to work in Makati City
