Position Summary:
TheProcurement Team Leadoversees a team of Procurement Specialists responsible for researching, evaluating, and purchasing products in line with established guidelines and regulations. This role ensures that procurement operations meet quality, compliance, and performance standards, while also acting as the primary link between the Manila-based team and company management.The Team Lead supports continuous improvement, delivers training, and is accountable for team performance and operational excellence.

- Work Setup: Onsite (Bridgetowne, Exxa Tower, QC)
- Shifts: Monday to Friday 12 PM to 9 PM (Manila Time)
- Holidays: Following US Holidays
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management- Supervise, coach, and mentor Procurement Specialists to achieve individual and team targets.
- Organize daily assignments, monitor task completion, and address performance issues.
- Lead team huddles, facilitate knowledge sharing, and conduct ongoing training.
- Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members as needed.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company guidelines, contractual obligations, and country-specific regulations.
- Oversee the review and validation of supplier quotations and supporting documentation.
- Maintain audit readiness by ensuring complete and accurate records in the ERP system.
- Support initiatives to improve processes and service delivery.
- Serve as the main operational point of contact for the procurement team and company management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to clarify requirements, support onboarding, and resolve escalations.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication between all stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on complex or high-value procurement activities as needed.
- Review and approve final supplier selections, ensuring alignment with requirements.
- Support relationship management with key vendors and internal teams.
- Monitor and report on team performance indicators (e.g., Requests for Quote processed, compliance, quality).
- Ensure proper documentation and communication archiving in the ERP system.
- Track attendance, work hours, and shift coverage.
- Support additional projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 year of experience supervising, leading, or mentoring a team.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including business email.
- High attention to detail and focus on compliance.
- Analytical thinking for reviewing pricing, margins, and financial metrics.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to coach, train, and onboard new hires.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experienced in using ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Familiarity with Slack and other business communication tools.
- Experience in customer service, supply chain, or logistics is a plus.
