Staff Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development
Seeking a seasoned Test Engineer with expertise in automation and integration. Drive AI-powered solutions to enhance testing processes and system integrations. Lead projects and collaborate with other groups to innovate and optimize testing methodologies.Ensure high-quality deliverables and reduce cycle time through cutting-edge technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient test solutions that meet product and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated test systems (hardware and software) for new product development and manufacturing.
- Create test strategies and validation plans for power devices, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for bench and production environments.
- Collaborate with design engineers and verification engineers to develop device models and simulation tools that can be reused to accelerate test development for both bench evaluation and production ATE test solutions.
- Work closely with design, product, and manufacturing engineers to define test requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure test solutions are scalable for high-volume production and compliant with industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in automation and test engineering.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in automated test development for semiconductor or power devices.
- Extensive Experience in Test Engineering: Proven track record in automation and integration, with a deep understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Expertise in AI-Powered Solutions: Ability to leverage AI to enhance testing processes and system integrations, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Project Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Strong leadership abilities to manage projects and collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, or similar). Knowledgeable with I2C, PMBus, SPY protocols.
- Hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and bench instrumentation.
- Proven ability to develop both hardware and software for test automation.
- Experience collaborating with design and verification engineers to develop reusable device models and simulation tools that accelerate test development.
- Experience in using SystemVerilog, LTSpice to simulate and test devices in the pre-Si phase, and schematic capture tools such as Cadence or similar.
