Production assistant

Job Description

• The Assistant Production Supervisor provides critical operational support to the production management team, overseeing daily manufacturing activities and leading plant floor personnel. Acting as a bilingual bridge, the role requires complete fluency in both Thai and English to facilitate clear communication across multicultural teams, coordinate floor workflows, and ensure shift objectives align with safety, quality, and volume targets.
• Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Target & Schedule Monitoring: Track daily production schedules continuously, identifying and resolving bottlenecks early to ensure the shift consistently hits its output targets.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to food processing standards, quality control protocols, and workplace safety regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Data Management & Reporting: Gather floor metrics, prepare clear production reports, and maintain organized, accurate records using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Bilingual Team Coordination: Use fluent written and spoken Thai and English to deliver technical instructions, align cross-border team communications, and handle floor adjustments smoothly.
• Shift Flexibility: Manage and support floor operations across flexible shifts, including scheduled overtime, nights, and holidays as required by high-volume production demands.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or any related field.
• Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken).
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to assist in supervising production personnel and daily operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Capable of monitoring production schedules and ensuring targets are achieved.
• Ability to prepare production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, and holidays when required.
