Position Summary

Mainly responsible for providing essential back-office support, including bookkeeping and overall financial operations. This role requires hands-on experience in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of general accounting principles and compliance with BIR, statutory, and other regulatory agencies.

They will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, support reporting, and contribute to audit and compliance reports. Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness are key to success in this position.

Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Accurately enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks.
  • Accurately perform month-end accounts reviews and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Support tax filings and regulatory compliance processes by ensuring that all schedules tally with internal records.
  • Work with finance leadership to review and enhance accounting procedures and controls.
  • Report to the senior management any known deviations to the finance policies that have been encountered in the performance of day-to-day functions.
  • Assist in other day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and ensure the strict implementation of company accounting policies, procedures, and practices.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences
  • Education: Graduate of BS Accountancy (preferred) or any business-related course with more than 2 years solid experience in General/Cost Accounting, bookkeeping, government reportorial compliance and payroll processing.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft excel and general financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Time conscious and can work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
  • Understanding of US payroll tax system is a plus
