Quality Engineer Automation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Automation to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and solutions across various layers of the application architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (especially IGNITE-Cucumber), and a deep understanding of end-to-end testing processes in modern application environments including APIs, microservices, containers, and UI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust test automation solutions and frameworks to support continuous testing across all test phases.
• Automate testing at multiple levels including UI, API, services, data, and across technologies such as mobile, browsers, client-server, microservices, and containers.
• Implement automation using IGNITE-Cucumber framework or similar BDD tools.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous test execution and reporting.
• Understand functional and business requirements to design optimized test scenarios, identify test cases, and write automation code accordingly.
• Enable functional testers by building frameworks that support keyword/data-driven test automation approaches.
• Conduct performance and regression testing using automation to ensure product quality at scale.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and contribute to improving the quality of releases.
• Apply domain knowledge to identify testing gaps and improve automation coverage.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in automation frameworks and scripting (preferably Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, REST Assured, etc.
• Experience with IGNITE-Cucumber framework and BDD/TDD testing approaches.
• Solid understanding of API testing, microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of test execution and reporting in CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with IQP (Intelligent Quality Platform) or equivalent AI/ML-powered testing tools.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing cloud-native apps.
