Position: ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Description:
- Daily review of Quickbooks and SAP transactions for any unusual records
- Daily random review of reports in Quickbooks and SAP if transactions were properly reported
- Monitoring of accounting Department’s transactions, processes and policies.
- Evaluating and monitoring control system within applicable audit framework.
- Weekly update with the Accounting Supervisor of transactions’ status in SAP and Quickbooks
- Monthly internal audit or reconciliation of accounts in Quickbooks and SAP
- Monthly coordination with Accounting Supervisor for the accuracy of all accounts before preparation of internal financial statements
- Quarterly sending of AR/AP confirmation letter to customers and vendors
- Assist the external auditors in their overall process for the annual audit
- Assist in the preparation of annual trial balance for annual audit
- Assist in organization of processes and internal controls within the Finance division
- Safekeeping and encoding of all importation documents in SAP BIR-Addons system
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Management
- Candidate must be a Bachelor’s degree graduate in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or any Business-related course
- At least one (1) year of working experience in the same field
- Experience in QuickBooks, SAP, or other accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good interpersonal, customer service, and decision-making skills
- Ability to organize, listen, adapt, communicate (written and verbal), and follow up effectively with all staffing levels and clients or customers
