Senior Australian Tax Accountant

Senior Australian Tax Accountant Remote | Philippines | Australian Accounting Firm

We are seeking an experienced Senior Australian Tax Accountant to join our growing Australian accounting firm remotely from the Philippines.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience preparing and reviewing Australian tax and accounting work across individuals, companies, trusts, and business entities.

• Review and prepare Australian tax returns and financial statements
• Review BAS, IAS, payroll, superannuation, FBT, and WorkCover reconciliations
• Identify errors, risks, and compliance issues
• Mentor and support junior accountants
• Assist managers with workflow and technical queries
• Liaise with the ATO where required

• 5+ years Australian accounting and tax experience
• Strong experience reviewing tax returns and financial statements
• Good knowledge of:
• Companies, trusts, and individual tax
• Div 7A
• CGT
• Small business entities
• Experience with Xero and Australian accounting systems
• Strong English communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA / CA qualification or ongoing studies highly regarded

• PHP 160,000 – PHP 230,000 per month
