Claims Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Claims Assistant to join our growing team at ALFC INSURANCE AGENCY CORPORATION.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Daily monitoring of ongoing claims accounts and ensuring that all requirements are complete.
• Assists all new claims and endorses to the insurance provider for processing.
• Communicate with the assured to discuss the procedure of insurance claim and the requirements needed.
• Consistently coordinate with the insurance provider / shop about the status of Letter of Agreement (LOA).
• Monitors policy payment of assured clients.
• Prepares and submit weekly reports of new and ongoing claims.
• Regularly updates the Claims Head on the status of new and ongoing claims.
• Updates the monitoring through Google Sheet of the respective team to keep them informed on the insurance claim status.
• Performs other work-related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

• Graduate of any four-year business course.
• Preferably with at least six (6) months related experience.
• With strong analytical, judgment and decision-making skills .
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Has keen attention to details and has good communication skills.
• Should know proper telephone etiquette/has the ability to handle different personalities well.
