The Assistant Purchasing Manager is responsible for supervising the Purchasing team and ensuring compliance with Hilton’s global procurement policies. Key duties include reviewing purchase requests, securing competitive quotations, managing contracts and supplier relationships, and coordinating with government agencies to maintain regulatory standards.

The role also supports cost control initiatives, oversees month-end reporting and documentation, and ensures timely communication with Accounts Payable. By maintaining strong vendor relations, monitoring risks, and upholding Hilton’s sourcing approval processes, the Assistant Purchasing Manager helps drive efficient, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing operations

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong financial knowledge and ability to work with budgets;
  • Knowledge of departmental and hotel operations;
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, able to communicate effectively;
  • Knowledge of training techniques;
  • Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint;
  • Familiar with Check SCM or similar system
