• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial accounting
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, prepayments, and journal entries
• Proven experience preparing monthly financial accounts and reconciliations
• Experience preparing and reconciling BAS
• Experience working with multiple entities is highly regarded
• Proficiency in Xero is essential or highly preferred
• Experience using Dext or similar accounts payable software is advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate Level)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently following training
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence in communicating with Directors and stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Process month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Prepare and reconcile BAS and other statutory reports
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes

• Process creditor invoices and maintain accurate records
• Manage invoice workflows using Dext and Xero
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and transaction coding

• Prepare and process creditor payments
• Support trust account payment processing
• Maintain supporting documentation and internal controls

• Provide backup support for receipting functions
• Process and allocate receipts accurately and promptly

• Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for management
• Respond to finance-related inquiries from stakeholders
• Support finance and administrative projects as required

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager and Finance team
• Prepare financial information for management review and distribution
