OpEx Manager (Automation Solutions and Delivery Lead)
Summary:
The Automation Solutions and Delivery Lead is a Senior Manager-level role within the Digital Solutions Hub function of the Operations Excellence and Automation (OPEX) Division. This role will be responsible for the execution, governance, and scaling of automation initiatives across REPH.Reporting directly to the Head of OPEX, this role manages the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE). It ensures the efficient delivery of automation solutions that drive operational efficiency, productivity, and business value.
The Automation Lead is expected to deliver automation solutions by leveraging low-code platforms and full-code development approaches based on business needs. He/she will oversee a blended team of low-code developers, Python engineers, and technical business analysts.
This role collaborates closely with Automation Points of Contact (POCs) across divisions to maintain a healthy automation pipeline, prioritize high-impact projects, and embed automation into business operations.
The Automation Solutions and Delivery Lead will focus on RPA, intelligent automation, workflow automation, and integration technologies. This role will partner closely with the Data Science Lead, a peer role under the Digital Solutions Hub, responsible for AI/ML model development, predictive analytics, and advanced data insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 7–9 years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years leading automation solution delivery teams
- Experience managing technical developers (both RPA developers and software engineers) and technical BAS
- Strong, hands-on experience in Python programming for automation scripting, custom solution development, and API integrations
- Working experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Platform, etc.) for rapid delivery of appropriate use cases
- Solid understanding of Web Development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs) to support custom automation and web integrations
- Ability to assess automation requirements and determine the best-fit approach (low-code vs. full-stack development) based on complexity, scalability, and maintainability
- Familiarity with intelligent document processing (IDP), OCR, low-code platform integrations, and hybrid automation architectures
- Preferred certifications:
- Python programming certifications (PCEP, PCAP) or equivalent practical experience
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, Microsoft Power Platform certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Agile Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (optional)
