Duties and responsibilities
- Reports to Environment Manager and assists the whole Project Management Team in implementing best environmental management practices to conditions stipulated in the ECC as well as to ensure adherence to the Environmental Policy
- Assist the Environment Manager in complying all relevant environmental laws (PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, RA 4850, etc.) and regulations or requirements related to the execution of works and administration during the construction phase.
- Supervises the environmental management and implementation of approved Contractor's Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (CEMMP) at assigned area and coordinate all concerns related to environmental aspect of construction works and project execution.
- Acts as support personnel in the conduct of required environmental quality monitoring
- Assist in the conduct of facility and site inspection, job hazards analysis, and other evaluations to identify environmental hazards and potential risks.
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Adept on environmental and other regulatory permitting applications and compliance.
- Has significant knowledge and able to recommend designs or measures for noise suppression, air pollution control operation and maintenance, solid waste management, hazardous waste management and wastewater treatment
