This role will focus on email marketing, social media management, content marketing, and data analytics. The ideal candidate has strong experience in marketing for technology, software, SaaS, IT services, or similar companies, preferably with exposure to established technology environments such as Microsoft or Microsoft-related products, services, campaigns, or partner ecosystems.

Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and improving digital marketing activities across email, social media, content, and analytics channels. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B digital marketing, especially within the technology and software industry.

This position is ideal for someone who is creative, analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a technology-driven business environment. The role requires both execution and strategic thinking, as the specialist must be able to turn marketing objectives into campaigns, content, reports, and measurable results.

Duties & Responsibilities

Email Marketing
  • The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the planning and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns designed to nurture prospects, engage existing contacts, promote services, and support business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, create, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns for both companies.
  • Write and edit email copy for newsletters, promotional campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, event announcements, service updates, and client engagement campaigns.
  • Segment email lists based on audience type, industry, buyer persona, engagement level, campaign source, or business interest.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to align email campaigns with broader marketing goals.
  • Monitor email performance including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, and conversions.
  • Maintain email marketing calendars and ensure campaigns are sent on schedule.
  • Support database hygiene by helping maintain clean, accurate, and properly segmented contact lists.
  • Recommend improvements to increase engagement, deliverability, and conversion rates.
Social Media Management
  • The role will manage and grow the social media presence of both Interprit and The Virtual IT Professional, with a strong focus on professional B2B platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage social media content planning, scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain a social media calendar for both companies.
  • Draft captions, post copy, campaign messages, and professional social media content aligned with each company’s brand voice.
  • Coordinate with designers, internal teams, or external resources for visual assets when needed.
  • Publish content across approved platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or other relevant channels.
  • Monitor comments, messages, engagement, and audience interactions.
  • Track social media metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, clicks, and inquiries. Identify relevant trends, topics, hashtags, industry conversations, and content opportunities in the technology and software space.
  • Recommend ways to improve social media engagement, brand visibility, and audience relevance. Ensure that both companies maintain a professional, credible, and consistent digital presence.
Content Marketing
  • The Digital Marketing Specialist will help create and distribute valuable content that supports brand awareness, thought leadership, lead generation, and client engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop content ideas aligned with business goals, target audiences, services, and campaign priorities.
  • Write, edit, and optimize content for blogs, newsletters, case studies, social posts, landing pages, campaign materials, and website updates.
  • Translate technical or software-related topics into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content.
  • Support content creation for technology-related services, IT solutions, software development, consulting, outsourcing, and professional services.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, technical teams, or leadership to gather insights for content.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets such as social media posts, email snippets, infographics, or campaign messages.
  • Ensure content is consistent with brand guidelines, tone, messaging, and positioning.
