Business and System Analyst Supervisor

Business and System Analyst Supervisor is responsible for doing and leading the analysis, design, and delivery of business and systems improvements across various operational domains including ERP, warehousing, transport, sales, and supplier management.

The position is hands-on, with the analyst expected to create documentation, gather requirements, and directly contribute to the implementation of systems and automation efforts across both internal and third-party logistics operations.

This role requires a deep understanding of the meat distribution business, involving ERP, importation, storage in 3PL and company-owned warehouses, and delivery via subcontracted or in-house transport. Initially an individual contributor, the role is expected to transition into a leadership position as the team expands.

• Leads business and system analysis across core applications such as ERP (NETSUITE – Finance, Accounting, order management, Warehouse Management, Transport Management), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Sales Management, and Supplier Management platforms.
• Provides planning, design and execution of business-system integration, analysis and automation deliverables including user requirements, functional specifications, models, and system use cases.
• Oversees the planning, design, and implementation of business-system integration, analysis improvements, automation and digitization that improve efficiency across operations, sales, and logistics.
• Manages project delivery for system-related initiatives by creating detailed timelines, budgets, and task assignments.
• Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business and systems integration including analysis and technology fit assessment, with proficiency in tools and methodologies such as DFD, ERD, BPMN, workflow diagrams, and benchmarking.

• Business-System Process Modeling - Ability to visually document and optimize end-to-end business processes for clarity and system alignment.
• SQL and Data Analysis - Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and interpreting data from business systems to support decision-making and system validation.
• ERP Functional Understanding - Familiarity with core ERP modules (e.g., accounting, GL, inventory, finance, order management) and ability to map processes to system functions.
• NETSUITE Understanding – Deep understanding and knowledge with NETSUITE modules (e.g., accounting, GL, inventory, finance, order management) and ability to map processes to system functions.
• System Integration Design - Ability to analyze, document, and support integration between applications like WMS, TMS, ERP, and external platforms via APIs or middleware.
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation - Skilled in producing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FSDs (Functional Specifications), and Use Cases for technical teams.
• Process Automation & RPA Awareness - Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath) and when to apply them for workflow efficiency.
• Project Management Tools - Proficient in tools like Jira, MS Project, or Monday.com for managing timelines, sprints, tasks, and deliverables.
• IT Modeling Design - Ability to create Use Case Diagrams, Diagrams, and Relationship Diagrams to support system design and data planning.

• Data Modeling & Costing - Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, cost-benefit analysis, and validation of project-related assumptions.
• Business Understanding – Deep knowledge in meat distribution, importation, exportation and food business.
